The 25 Club Fashion Show

The Twenty-Five Club's fall luncheon, "The Cradle will Rock", was held on November 11, 2015, Veteran's Day, at the Duquesne Club. All proceeds from this event benefit newborn medicine and specifically prenatal and neonatal research and clinical care supported by Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. Chairs of the event were Susan Fitzsimmons, Carol Massaro and Peggy Snavely.
More than 165 guest enjoyed a delicious three-course luncheon prepared by the Duquesne Club; Chestnut Soup, Breast of Gerber Chicken stuffed with spinach, Fontina and sun-dried tomato, and Apple and Cranberry Strudel. Dr. Yoel Sadovsky, Director of
Magee-Womens Research Institute, was the distinguished guest speaker, providing an update on the institute's current research that The Twenty-Five Club helps to support. Dr. Sadovsky also helped raffle off four items that were donated by Louis Anthony Jewelers, Larrimor's, Emy Mack Shoes and Suzan Obagi, MD.
Following lunch, Larrimor's presented a 'fall' fashion show that included a performance with dancers from the Point Park Conservancy of Performing Arts. Joining the models, were four Twenty-Five Club members; Debbie Barbarita, Susan Fitzsimmons, Veronica Guarino and Penny Holden. A video of the Dance show and Fashion show is included below.
