History

The 25 Club of Pittsburgh has been supporting the Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC and Neonatal Research, Care, and Supplies for over 75 years.  Learn more about the history of The 25 Club below.  

1939: The 25 Club is established in the home of Lillian Reese

Pittsburgh's first Thermo Controlled Incubators from The 25 Club

1940: The Club Expands Fund-Raising Efforts

1941: In the wake of Pearl Harbor, the Club held matinee theatre performances

1954: Pittsburgh’s first thermo control incubators

Pittsburgh's first Thermo Control Incubators were purchased by The 25 Club.

1957: The 25 Club establishes the Infant Research Laboratory

Infant Research Laboratory financed by The 25 Club in 1957

1957: Junior Auxiliary Established

The Magee Cradle Roll was established in 1957

1962: Magee-Womens Hospital Formed

1969: 25 Club Donates 1st Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
